• We are keenly aware that the enemy would like nothing more than to somehow come against this work in order to hinder and thwart any more ministry and publication of materials from coming forth. Please cover this work in prayer as much of the victory is won in the arena of prayer, along with our obedience to the Lord and walking by faith.

• Please pray for the following projects that are in the works. Maranatha and I both are currently working on books. Her book is one of real encouragement to women in their journey of being effective and joyful "keepers/workers at home" (Titus 2:3-5). It is full of wonderful biblical encouragement, and yet loaded heavily with good practical advice and helpful tips for godly women "being there" for their husbands, managing their home and time, homeschooling their children, and enjoying to the fullest the sometimes "blessed chaos" that is family life in God. She has already finished the rough draft of all 12 chapters, and we are now waiting on her editor (me!, as I am able) to have the time to help her finish it out. I am also writing a book, tentatively titled, Understanding Spiritual Geography (and subtitled: Discerning the Two Kingdoms and Fighting the Good Fight of Faith). The message it will convey is a mosaic of truth that you don't hear very much about in our time, but one that is critical to have laid in as part of your foundation if you are going to "run in such a way that you may win," overcome in this life, and "inherit" the kingdom of God. Hopefully it will be used by the Lord to help wake up, stir up, and give direction to the Lord's remnant in these days of increasing darkness and the fulfillment of God's prophetic word. I also have two booklets that are mostly finished and awaiting funding in order to go to print. We also have a family devotional that is being edited and nearing completion.

• In addition to these book projects, we also continually write new articles, and there are a lot more audio teachings and worship CD's yet to come. We're working to update things so that all of our cassette-tape-only audio teachings will be available in CD and MP3 formats, and all future teachings will only be available in CD and MP3 formats.

• We also have homeschooling materials that are in varying stages of development. We have just released Words with Meaning (a one-of-a-kind vocabulary program with in-depth exercises to guarantee mastery of words worth learning) and the Learning Fun Songs music CD by Maranatha that has 27 songs that we have used in our family to help our children memorize things like the books of the Bible, multiplication tables, states & capitals, grammar, and much more. Please visit our Homeschooling page for information on how you can order these materials. One of the next homeschooling helps we desire to finish and release is Piano Simplicity. It is a very simple, self-taught method for learning to play the piano by chords that allows you to learn at your own pace and blossom as big as you want. After the first lesson, you are even able to play "Amazing Grace." It can be used to teach piano in a homeschooling environment, but our greatest desire in producing this is so that it can be a tool to help "whosoever will" to "worship the Lord in Spirit and in truth," compose songs of praise to God, and even to raise up worship leaders that can serve the Lord's people. We have a number of other homeschooling helps/materials that are in the idea stages that we will mention in future updates as real work begins on them.

• Be in prayer for Maranatha and I as we share in our respective conferences and retreats, as well as my ministry among mostly house churches. Regardless of what we are specifically teaching about—even when we're talking about very simple, practical matters—please pray that the Lord Jesus would be revealed, and that men and women would be equipped to see, enter, and express His kingdom. Our greatest desire is to encourage the Lord's people to "serve the purpose of God in their own generation" (Acts 13:36) and be made ready for the Bridegroom and His coming and we need His anointing to be able to do our part on an ongoing basis, in freshness and Life. Also be in prayer for the marriage and family retreat-type weekends. How can we be His church that the gates of hell do not prevail against if we're losing to the enemy on the home front? Pray that we might encourage couples in having healthy, intimate, godly marriages, as well as equip parents in their roles as fathers and mothers to "train up their children in the way they should go" (Prov. 22:6).

• Specifically pray for the effectual use of our time. As you know from your own experiences, keeping up the home of a large family, discipling and schooling the children, [Matthew] working to support our family, gathering together with saints in our area, extending hospitality, etc., etc., etc., makes life very, very full. We nevertheless want to "redeem the time" in these evil days in every way we can. We do "Kindling work" at every opportunity throughout the day and into the night and on weekends, trusting the Lord to free up even more blocks of time as we seek to be "faithful in the little things" in the use of our time. Please pray for wisdom and discernment in how/where we invest our time.

• Specifically pray also for the funds needed to produce, publish, and package these materials in the ways necessary to get them out and make them useable for the edification of others. Funds are also needed to purchase equipment we need, as well as get upgrades on some of the equipment we have, as these are the tools that enable us to do the work.
