What's on our hearts...

Have you wholeheartedly and unashamedly given up everything to daily follow Jesus? With everything in you, are you saying "Yes!" to Him without any reserve? Do you live with your heart fully open, honest, and teachable, not settling for just an outward look of faithfulfulness? Our hearts burn for His people to live wide awake to His kingdom, full of faith, engaged in life -- true life, HIS LIFE -- and completely given over to Him. All of the articles, audio teaching, and worship songs that we offer go back to this very heart.

Jesus is calling you! Wherever in life you find yourself, He is calling you now: "Come, follow Me." It doesn't matter what your history is, what kind of baggage you have, or what family background you come from, now is always the time to come to Him as you are and give Him everything. If you do, He can redeem, restore, heal all the places inside, and set you on a new path. He wants our hearts! So many in the religious world want to focus on behavior and "tweak" the outside first in hopes of effecting real inward change. But Jesus does just the opposite. As we see Him and yield fully to Him, He can and will change our hearts and then, from there, the frangrance of Christ will very naturally come out of us.

This reality is also true in our families. In the same way the Lord deals with us, we endeaver to always deal with heart and motives first in family matters, and then work out from there. This is the basis of what we use in our own marriage and parenting rather than hurriedly work through surface issues just so we can get some instant, outward results. We want want real and ongoing intimacy in our marriage, a complete yeilding of our children's hearts, and a depth of love in our home that goes past a mental descision. We also want unity and togetherness in a way that only makes more room for the Lord in our family, and a realness with one another and an enjoyment of life that makes home a safe place to be. If our lives are all about following Jesus in His "new and living way," then it is only right that this testimony be reflected in our family life as well.

You never have to settle for what's mediocre, lukewarm, or dead! Being His disciple is an incredible, abundant life that is not dry or pretentious because the Lord will touch (sanctify) every part of our lives so that we might "grow up in all aspects into Him, who is the Head, even Christ"...and radiate His life and light and love and liberty in every facet of our life. This life we describe is what He came to this earth for... to set apart people whom He can use to build His church that "the gates of Hell will not prevail" against... to have a bride who is "holy and blameless" and "without spot or wrinkle or any such thing," who will correspond to Him in all things. Are you ready to jump in with your whole heart?
