"Managing
Your Own Household Well" (1 Tim. 3:4-5, 12)
In this series, Matthew covers a lot of ground with men in
the two areas of marriage and parenting, and it's all about God's
purpose and design for our families. In the first half, he focuses
on a man's role as husband and aspiring to love our wife as Jesus
loves His church and unselfishly gave Himself up for her. In the process,
he takes a penetrating, lively, and sometimes painfully honest look
at many of the issues implicit in leading, communicating, staying
heart connected all the time, and maintaining intimacy.
The second half is devoted to a man's role as father and having vision for the entire season of life called "parenting." Subjects covered included aiming your children from infancy "in the way they should go," our responsibility in training and disciplining our children, keeping our children's hearts with ours, sheltering our families from evil influences, parenting together in harmony with your wife, the differing aspects of raising sons and daughters, launching our children into adulthood, and much more.
What makes this teaching especially unique is because these truths are shared with an ongoing, direct linkage between men being proven in the "managing of their own households well " and being qualified for leadership in the church (1 Tim. 3:4, 12). This series will speak to men in all stages of life—from single young men who are looking toward marriage and needing to establish a vision for "their own household" to newly married who are in need of equipping, to men well down the road who need encouragement and refreshing.
This
is an updated version of this teaching that was
recently
re-recorded
and is significantly expanded from previous releases. Six-CD

"I keep these in my truck and listen to them all day. They have changed my home." -Texas
"Created
for the Man's Sake" (1 Corinthians 11:9)
This is a potent encouragement given by Maranatha for wives
to embrace God's wonderful design in relating, submitting, and giving
to their husbands. Given in her gentle yet uncompromising way, Maranatha
encourages women to honestly look at the motives and issues of their
heart with respect to how the Lord has called them to walk in the
matters of daily life in relation to their husband. The response over
the past ten years to this teaching has been both overwhelming and
dramatic. We have received literally hundreds of letters with the
same testimony—a changed marriage. Two-CD set $15
(Because some have wanted larger quantities of this series in order
to start accountability groups where they can listen to segments of
the teaching individually and then come together, look up the scriptures
mentioned, and encourage one another in their roles as wives, we also
offer a box of six CD sets for $72—a 20% discount over ordering
six sets individually)

Mothering
In this series, Maranatha shares on the deeper aspects of God's purpose
for motherhood in her simple and practical manner, helping mothers
recognize their vitally important role in molding their children's
hearts with eternity in view and equipping them with practical ways
to help accomplish this. Encouragement is also given in the areas
of cultivating pleasantness in the home and restoring the joy of motherhood
for those who feel like they have lost it.

new every time I listen."

Seeing,
Entering and Expressing the Kingdom of God
Jesus and the apostles constantly taught, preached, and
demonstrated the kingdom of God. Why then do we really know and
hear so little of His kingdom in our day and time when it is what
Jesus explicitly told us to "seek first" and proclaim
(Matt. 6:33, 24:14)? This series looks in-depth at how we are to
see, enter, and express the kingdom of God in our daily lives. This
is a revolutionary call for Christians to awaken to Jesus and His
realm, "put on and wear" who we are in Him, "fight
the good fight of faith" (1 Tim. 6:12), and abide more consistently
in/with Him. This is probably unlike anything you will ever hear
in Sunday sermons. Three-CD
set $18
"...very insightful... incredible message! I want everyone
I know to hear this!" -Kentucky
The Eternal Purpose of God
This series is for hungry, dare-to-be-honest Christians who seek to
be fully faithful to the Lord, and who want to know His heart and
walk in His way even if this takes them out of "the mainstream."
Why is there such a dramatic difference between the church we read
about in the New Testament scriptures and the impotent, worldly religious
institutions we see fragmented all over the religious landscape today?
What is God's ultimate purpose and aim for His people and how do we
cooperate with it? What did the Lord mean when He said, "Come
out of her, My people," referring to Babylon? What have we gotten
ourselves into that we need to come out of? These are some of the
questions upon which light is shed in this series. Four-CD
set $23
Today's Choices and Eternity's Consequences
What did Jesus mean when He spoke of "those who are considered
worthy to attain the resurrection from the dead" (Luke 20:35)?
What did Paul mean when he said "in order that I may attain to
the resurrection from the dead" (Phil. 3:11)? If the Lord Himself
and an apostle of Paul's stature so comfortably spoke of being "considered
worthy to attain" and "attaining to" the resurrection,
then how come Christians today never speak in these terms and would
even feel very uncomfortable speaking of it in this way? Most people's
first thought is, "Considered worthy? What is there to 'attain'
to? Isn't it automatic if we've been saved?" Do these common
responses betray a flaw in our general understanding about the resurrection?
Why is there a great divide among Christians between those who teach
"once saved, always saved" and those who espouse that you
can "lose your salvation"? Is the Lord in confusion about
this matter, or has He clearly revealed His truth in the scriptures
but we miss it because of our modern evangelical biases and traditions?
Are there really eternal ramifications, good and bad, to a Christian's
choices and deeds in life, or is the life we live just simply not
that big of deal though we do get rewarded a little extra in eternity
if we choose well? These are a few of the many subjects covered in
this series. Five-CD set $28
Encouragement for the "Doing" Part of Faith
We all know that "faith without works is dead" (James
2:14-26), and that our believing God will be expressed in some way if
it is real. This teaching takes a look at God's specific provisions
for instructing His people in the "doing" aspect of walking
by faith. And the biblical name by which this practical instruction
is called will shock you. A delightful redeeming of a specific term
that has been largely ruined and taking heart in the reality behind
it! Two-CD set $10
Dealing with Temptation
We all deal with temptations of many varieties—how do we overcome?
What "tools" are available to help us when we are being tempted?
What is the Lord's "way of escape" and how do we take it (1
Cor. 10:13)? This message contains a thorough and encouraging look at
the whole subject. Two-CD set $10
Walking in Forgiveness
An in-depth look at releasing those who have wounded us and then walking
free from bitterness. Shared especially in light of God's call for us
to walk together as His holy, set apart people and not allowing "advantage
to be taken of us by Satan" and his schemes through the inevitable
offenses that come in our life together. Individual CD $8
Hindrances to Moving with the Holy Spirit
There are two basic default settings from which to "do life,"
and everyone's flesh has a primary bent toward one of them—and
they both get in the way of flowing with the Holy Spirit's leadings.
This teaching deals with our "modus operandi baggage" and
shows what it means to truly wait upon the Lord with openness and then
act when He reveals His will. Two-CD set $10
"...so enjoyable to listen to... I felt very convicted and yet
hugged at the same time."
Loving from Freedom
In his letter to the churches of Galatia, Paul explicitly declared that
we "were called to freedom" and that "it was for freedom
that Christ set us free." Because of this, we are to "keep
standing firm" in our freedom in Christ and are "not to be
subject again to the yoke of slavery" that comes with living by
law (Gal. 5:1-15). At the same time, we are commanded repeatedly to
love. How then do we love the Lord and one another from freedom when
it is what we are supposed to do? How do we obey the Lord's command
to "fervently love from the heart" and yet abide in His freedom
and keep ourselves from turning it into "the leaven of the Pharisees"
(living by law)? This teaching provides encouragements and exhortations
that will help reconcile these types of dilemmas that all disciples
of Jesus have to deal with when seeking to walk with pure motives in
obeying "the greatest commandments." Two-CD set $10
Subtle Ways We Walk Like "Mere Men"
It is easy to recognize the obvious and blatant deeds of the
flesh in order to deal with them, but what about the subtle ways we
can, as Paul said, "walk like mere men" instead of as "new
creatures in Christ" (1 Cor. 3:3)? This teaching looks at a number
of ways we may be doing this without realizing it so we can turn from
them and make more room for the Lord in our lives. Two-CD
set $10

We
started this project over two years ago and thought we were almost finished
last year, but God had a different plan. Since then we have seen Him
change lives, pour out, and move huge mountains. Through intercession,
trials, and many sweet times with other in the church, about half of
the 16 songs on this CD were written during this past season. Vocals
include every member of our family along with a number of the saints
that we walk with here who sing on several songs. $12

We Want To Be About You
In the past few years, our family has written a number of worship
songs and we recently felt led of the Lord to record a few that He is
using currently in our times together before Him. What you will hear
is our declaration of being set apart for our Lord and His purposes,
and our desire to bring Him pleasure with our "simplicity and purity
of devotion to Him." Everyone in our family contributed to this
CD, and the feedback we have received has been very encouraging.

"...very edifying and worshipful." "My new favorite CD!"
"The depth of the songs written by your children has stirred our
entire family."
Loving
Our Bridegroom
A collection of simple, yet deeply intimate worship songs sung by Maranatha
and her father, Stan Owen. An excerpt from the inside cover of the CD:
"While we eagerly await the day when we are face-to-face with our
Lord Jesus at the marriage feast of the Lamb, we can now spend our moments
in this life learning to love Him with all of our heart, soul, mind,
and strength. Verbally expressing our love to Him by allowing such worship
to fill our hearts and flow from our lips throughout the days of our
betrothal is one way we can do this. The songs in Loving Our Bridegroom
were written as such outpourings. They are not songs about our Bridegroom,
but intimate songs to Him." $12
