Matthew
asked me to do this page and share a little bit about
us for whoever is interested....
Matthew
and I have been married for over 21 years, and have
seven precious children. We live in beautiful East Texas
on 9 acres on the outskirts of Tyler. We are best friends
and grow deeper in love every day. Matthew preaches
and writes and has ministered to the Lord's people,
particularly those in house churches, for nearly 29
years. He is a regular contributor to Brush
Arbor Quarterly magazine, a publication
devoted to repentance, revival, and restoration. I love
being a "keeper at home" and serving the needs
of our family. I am a regular contributor to the women's
publication An Encouraging Word
and share in women's conferences and gatherings from
time to time. Our lives are knit together with saints
here where we live, and we are blessed to see the Lord
working in/through/among us and laying the foundation
for building a lampstand in our area.
Of the many simple things we enjoy as a family, just
being together ranks at the top. We love doing all the
many jobs and activities of daily life together, seeking
to make the most of every opportunity to share life,
learn together, teach & disciple our children, and
make memories. We especially enjoy gardening and working
together on our land. And we absolutely love homeschooling
our children and feel very honored to get to train,
educate, and bring them forth to be men and women of
God.
Here's a little bit about them....

Benjamin
is an absolute blessing to our family. He is in love
with Jesus and he would say that everything else doesn't
really matter that much. He stays busy running his
window cleaning and power washing business and loves
music and playing the piano and guitar. He recently
bought the 5 acres and home next door to us.

Lauren
and her precious husband, Nathan Mickler, are a delight
to be around. They have been married for just under
two years and God is already using them so much among
the saints we walk with. They have one child—an
energetic toddler, Caleb Matthew, who is our first
grandchild!

Kindle
is a jewel. She is such a servant and has such a sweet,
giving heart. She spends her life looking for ways
to bless other people and she loves cooking and baking.

Ezra
is his daddy made over. He is passionate, meticulous,
orderly, affectionate, and loves to work. He really
enjoys clearing the woods and anything that is aggressive.
At the same time he is the first in our home to notice
the beautiful sunset or a helpless, little animal.

Zion
Hope is full of life and always has a huge smile on
her face. She loves from the deepest part of her heart
and if you are sad, she will cry with you and comfort
you with lots of compassion. She is our song bird
and just figured out harmony, so she now harmonizes
with every song or even sound in our house, including
the dishwasher.

Rebekah
is about the cuddliest little child alive. She is
precious! She just recently gave her life to Jesus
and was baptized by Matthew.

Hadassah
Joy is pure sunshine!!! She keeps us in stitches.
She actually understands humor and will have the whole
family in tears from laughter. She is also such a
little, sweetie-pie and melts our hearts with her
tenderness and loving ways.
